I wanted to grab their attention;
with a little trick I learned.
They applauded immensely, for a moment.
Then they left, each their way!

I waited for them the next day,
my instinct begged me to continue;
But each was on their way

So I waited for the night,
to dream of them in my sleep.

In the end: I came alone and left a stranger
